So if you're moving into Halls soon or even a private house or flat for your first year, here's the essential list of what you'll need.
To cut your costs, make sure you know what is and what isn't provided for you in advance so you don't shell out cash unnecessarily.
Hunt around for good deal and if you can pinch it from home for free, do it!

This whole list should be split between you and your flat/housemates. If no arrangements have been made in advance, we suggest providing some basics for yourself (plate, knife and forks, etc) and some ready to eat/easy to cook food to keep you going until everything is sorted.
